Hello from Georgia! Glad I found this forum.
So, I am originally from Africa and pretty much drove all kinds of cruisers in the past, 60's, 100's series and prado's. My brother lives in Canada and I have been thinking about having him buy a bj70 for me. I need some info about the processed involved in bringing the vehicle to Georgia.

I missed the engine noise of the old diesel, and just got to have one.

Welcome. I am in the ATL metro.

Bringing a 7x into GA is pretty easy. As long as it is 25 years old or older you are good to go and no issues with registering, etc.

Man, this is a great news!!! So, when I go visit my brother in Toronto I can just drive the rig back home and register it?

Pretty much it. Now there are specific protocols for bringing the truck across the Canadian border.

Here in Virginia I ran into two unexpected obstacles because the person at the DMV was not real experienced.
Canada does not provide a document that has TITLE across the top. They just have something like Registration and a separate Bill of Sale.
Second, the lady did not want to accept the border crossing documentation because it lacked rubber stamps. They don't use rubber stamps anymore.

I had to convince the lady that everything was legit.
