Tailgates are tough!
Do you need a complete tailgate (including window glass, motor, regulator, yada-switches) or just a shell?
I had a complete tailgate (rust free california) shipped to my house in middle america for several hundred bucks. I don't remember the exact sum, but it was worth it, even if it isn't the same color as the rest of the truck.
I tell everyone who asks that I have a "Deluxe Two-Tone" Model.
Chevy guys get it.

theres a runner in a salvage yard down here that i got the hitch off of.89 i think.i dont remember what the rear gate was like but i van check & see monday for ya.i do remember that the truck is black
