I figured Rui can't be the only one working on his 40 in comfort...I followed along and got a heater for my garage too :) I went electric because I already have a panel in my garage, I wanted to be able to have it move with me, and conveniently--I happen to be an electrician. Cranks out 5000 watts of air forced heat, from freezing to T-shirt tonight in less than 20 minutes!

Got the 40 pulled in the garage tonight-- I still can't believe the condition of this thing. Just amazing. Hardly any rust underneath and every part is accounted for. Need to figure out how to prime the oil pump in the engine, rebuild the carb, change some hoses, and hopefully, I'll be cruising on the trail 40 style in 2011!

Very Nice! Now I need to join the heater club. How much was the heater? 240 or 120?

You know, to prime the oil pump you can get a tool and go in through the distributer hole... oh wait... does that engine have a distributor? :hillbilly:

Got the heater installed and running....let the games begin!!!:bounce::bounce2::bounce::bounce2:

I like it!!

Now that I got mine in...the oil pan is going in and the mounts on the frame are going in...then the engine goes in...then I get the cherry picker out of my garage for some much needed space!!! Everyone wins.:grinpimp:

Very nice as well. What's that wire hanging down?

It's the thermostat wire...I wanted to get it running so I just hooked the wire to the thermostat...I will re-wire the thermostat up through the celling then down the side wall for a permanent install. (good eye).

Got seats for my cruiser today. Not sure If I want to keep them though, It is really hard to find good seats in a junkyard -- Little known fact...the most common interior color for cars from the 90's seems to be blue and tan. Gray makes up a smaller portion, and black is nearly impossible to find.

Guess which color I was looking for? Three cars with black seats! three! All were trashed. ugh... oh well, I got some gray seats out of an accord. will see how I like them tonight.
