New Family Member!

Wow, it took me 15min to remember my mud name (well, its been a year and I had a baby!). We got another cruiser last week. A HJ60 from Abbotsford. It met all the prerequistes for the new family vehicle. I'm enjoying it, I can go highway speed, and John is warm. The powersteering is pretty nice around town. Thanks Jim!

...I had a lot of fun driving "Kate" Bruce's HJ60 back in the day. Lots of good memories. I could get that beast up to some decent speeds. Got a speeding ticket doing 135km/hr down a hill. Last one I got.

Will you be bringing him/her to the Xmas party to be formally introduced???

Ya its the only cruiser we got on the road now, a name might be good as I was a liittle confuesd when lindsay called it the gray truck yeasturday, not use to that, we always call the trucks by who we bought them off (Les's truck) or where the came from (the harrison truck), I guess you could calll it Abby.

The rims need paint, but there better than the chevy aluminum rimes that were on there before

I am sorta starting to understand the naming thing now, the more cruisers you get the more you need to distinguish between them, especially if they are all the same model.

Years ago I wrote up a rant on the RMLCA mailing list justifying why Cruisers needed names. Stemmed from the fact there were about 4 green 40s in the club at that point. So, it got confusing when you were asked to go do something with a green 40 out on the runs.

Driving up last night I had a trucker flash his dock lights at me from about half a mile ahead. With all the snow built up on his tail lights, I didn't even know he was there, ooops

Yeah, the wagon is pretty much the wagon, cause I don't have another. The others are the blue one, either rusty or s*** brown one, and the mine truck.
