The meeting will be in Jan/Feb....where is it usually held? What goes on there? I just am looking forward to meeting people that understand the addiction and do not call my truck a Scout or Bronco. City Slickers.....what are we going to do with them?

just ignore them....or educate..up to you....at the meeting...we eat...then eat some more....than conduct an official meeting...collect dues...eat some more...trade parts...plan the upcoming years events and go home...last couple of years held in harrisonville mo....we have a member that is a fabulous master of the bbq....hope he volunteers again this year..if you have time come on up to osage city...i have a couple of rigs...

flaa1a, welcome to Wichita. By the looks of it you're an east coast transplant. A couple moves before KS I lived in Daytona Beach for 2.5 years and had a great time riding along the ocean.

How can someone confuse a pig with a Scout or an old Bronco? City slickers for sure.

I'm up near New Market, shoot me a PM and we can get together for a beverage and I can drool on your rig.

No....I am a Wichita lifer.....I just wish I lived in FLA....but mostly I am a big Jimmy Buffett fan.

I am glad to see some other LC owners that live close! I have so many questions all the time because I am new to this.

For sure would like to get with any of you "locals" sometime.

I would also like to go up and see Osage and check out the trails. I am finding myself wanting to drive up the freeway hills here in the city.

I am getting a carb from Jim C so I am waiting for that to get done. I haven't driven the LandShark for like 2 months!

Anyone in the Wichita area that is good at troubleshooting and likes beer give me a PM. I am tired of chasing my tail on why my rig has decided to run bad. New Jim C carb.....still runs bad. I have prolly hooked something up wrong, but wouldnt know...
