Well I broke down and made a disc cooker at work this morning with the help of my crew and put it to use as well.

1- 24" disc
2- chipping hammers (HF) for the handles
1'- 1" angle iron
1- Nail Set

Turned out pretty good IMO and cooks great. The nail set was to dimple the upper edge of the disc to help hold the food better for drainage.

How did you fill the hole in the center of the harrow disc?

Great idea for the handles, last longer than the HF welding gloves.

Split, the HF handles have been a contributing component to many of my BBQ build projects, lid and damper handles....

I can't speak to the quality of the HF gloves because I AM A SNOB WHEN IT COMES TO WELDING GLOVES ... TILLMAN ONLY FOR THIS OLE BOYS HANDS!! :grinpimp:
