It's funny I stumbled across this thread. My wife named her FJ40 "Joyota". I've been thinking about 3d printing a fake emblem for the front grill just like you're describing. Making vector art is really pretty easy, I just don't have access to a 3d printer...but if someone does just pm me for the file. I'd be happy to contribute a very small piece to a cool project like this. It would look a little something like this:

Updates, Hugh is doing better he was having some issues the last few months. Today was a good morning for Tay-Yota. One of our friends Carlos has donated some factory seats for the build ( for now I'm going to try to find some nice seat covers ). This is major and again @orangefj45 had the missing seat bracket we needed to finish the inside Thanks Georg. This is going to be a big weekend. Plan is install seats, replace leaking engine side cover gasket, get the taillights installed and working. Then the only big thing left is the exhaust.

More weekend updates. One of our local Cruiser Brothers stopped by and helped finish up the air intake set up. We couldn't use the factory air cleaner from so we mocked up this K&N set up its working very well.

I want to just say this community of people has touched a lot of lives. From the likes and comments to hands on and donated parts. For myself and the Family I want to say again Thank you. Hugh is back in San Diego today dealing with what he calls " Another bump in the road " We are getting close and the big push is on to finish up and deliver Tay-Yota to Taylor. Today another local Hero stopped by to bring parts that really will top off an amazing build Thanks Mike aka @Bear This picture is Myself and Hugh after one of our Cruiser parts adventures

What factory air breather setup do you need? I have an 87’ FJ60 unit if that will work.
Thanks for the offer it's a 2F running a 1974 carburetor to there's no wing nut stud coming out of the carburetor. We didn't want to pull the two head bolts for the earlier air cleaner bracket so we came up with this for

So far everything is still looking good. Some updates. Side cover gasket replaced, battery tray installed, replaced the metal fan with the plastic one @Bear donated. Over flow bottle. got all the gauges working and installed the new speedo cable. Tomorrow I will get the exhaust buttoned up Using parts from our old 1966 FJ45 LV LOL Its been a big push and worth it. Bob @brooksfj60 has been a big help I cant thank him enough and everyone else whos been involved

We have exhaust. Using parts from my old 1966 LV some left over tailpipe Tay-Yota is closer to being delivered. This morning Travis ( Taylors Brother ) is coming down with his trailer. Tonight the family will get to see her 40. Lots of emotions going on here. This is what makes this community so special.

I want to start out by saying everyone involved in this build Thank you. Today Taylor got her FJ40 Thanks to sponsors, friends, family and the Toyota community. So many people over the last few months kicked in time, parts and support. Spector Off road, Valley Hybrids, Solid Off road, Beno, Cotton Land Landcruisers, TLCA, Guys kicking in from their personal stash of parts. I don't mean to leave anyone out this was a community build, Hugh is dealing with more issues or as he says " Another bump in his road " Getting Taylors 40 to the family fulfilled a fathers dream. Enjoy the photos I Love this community

Thanks Bob, This was such a community effort. Here are a few more from last night. Mike aka @Bear donated a new factory shift knob. After arriving we gave it to Hugh so he could install it this topped of an Amazing build. Soon after Taylor was off for a few test drives.
