Considering a lot of Hi-Lift jacks come in at 48", this one is not that bad.

Ok, I must have not converted accurately enough, I was about 8" short on that. Thanks for sorting me out.
 
^^^ but Hydra-Jac only rated at 2200 lb capacity.
 
Seems like it's just for changing tires. Not for recovery or like centering it and lifting the whole front end, just one side at a time. I am physically messed up and hi-lifts get heavy to lug around, I have wished they made an aluminum one more than once.
