I don't make it in here much anymore but thought I would share. I sold my Lexus IS today and got a Tacoma. 2012 TRD Sport long bed 4x4. I love it. It is still no Land Cruiser but it is really nice. Now I have to avoid the urge to put a small lift and more aggressive tires on it. :D

Charleston is still here. I am no longer on the island though. I think 33's max, OME lift, and sliders.

Nice ride,Don't fight it.......do lift and tires now and you can trade in the factory tires. Call Frankie's tires on Cross County road. He will do you right on a trade in on the tires.

Now you can buy a tow Dolly and pull your 40 to URE! .

Thanks for the heads up on Frankie's. I may swing by this week and see what kind of deal I can get on some BFG's.

Nice ride. Love my Taco as well. 2.5" lift and 285's ride better than factory IMHO. Just don't get crazy with the agressive tread or else you will just be pissed that you are paying all that money each month for a truck that rides rough.

What lift do you have on yours? Did you have to do the Control Arms?

I have the adjustable Bilstein shocks on the 2.5 setting. And a rear AAL, all from Toytec. I haven't done the control arms, not needed. However, with 120k miles on the truck I can feel the ball joints are a little loose when I hit a hard bump. Will probably replace them with some Light Racing CA once I get over doing the routine maintenance this month.

If you go see Frankie tell him you heard about him though David. Benke and your a member of the landcruiser club . They are old friends and used to work together. He has always done me right. He's getting me some Bfg. All terrain s for my wife's Jeep 270/70 r17's. For $255 a piece out the door mounted and balanced. Other places were more than hat just for the tires then mounting and balancing was extra.

He 's also a suporting vendor for lclc. He donated some raffle items for the boil.

Nice truck. That is the exact same truck I was going to buy. Sometimes, I wish I had.
