UPDATE:
I filled the Landcruiser up with gas one more time, this time watching the underside of the car. I could see immediately that gas was slowing leaking from the rubber hose that connects the filler tube with the tank...I took off the line, and there was a big crack in it. I ordered the part from CDan and hopefully will have it up and running by the weekend...I had already ordered a used tank from Georgia that should be in the mail, so if anyone needs that....
I also have all the windows working. A new master switch got the driver side front to work. Applying direct power to the passenger side front got that one to budge and now it works at the switch, so all in all it's been pretty good inexpensive progress...It's like the PO just let all these small things go and they need to get sorted...See other thread please to offer any insight on my gauge cluster mystery.

I'm glad you're getting some cheap/free fixes! I experienced the exact same thing. I had so many little things that were just neglected, but not ruined. I was able to fix all the windows for free by cleaning the switches, fixed the dash by actually screwing it back into place. Fixed the steering column cover with a little epoxy. Spot cleaned the interior with Folex and then power washed the carpet. Anyway, my point is...a lot of these vehicles were just "old trucks" to a lot of people that didn't appreciate them. They drove them into the ground, but couldn't kill them. Then people like you and me come along and are giving them a new life. Thats the fun part. Bringing back a little bit of the glory of these awesome rigs.

I've done quite a bit of work and PM on mine and a lot of the issues I've had are very common. So if you have any questions or get stumped, drop me a message and I'll try to help. BTW, the most drastic thing I've done to mine recently was changing the O2 sensors. JonHeld recommends it as part of his baseline PM I believe, but I didn't do them originally. The ECU finally threw a code (#22), so I purchased some Densos from Rock Auto for about $85 total and replaced them quite easily. They've made a big difference in MPG and a bit more power. If you don't know the mileage on yours, I'd suggest replacing them. Apparently they just gradually diminish over time and then finally throw the code when they are way past their prime.

Good luck and have a blast with your rig!
