Is this true? I am looking for a rear 80 series(1994) Ring & Pinion in a 5.29 ratio(mine is factory locked) According to Justdifferentials(who I see on here occasionally), in their ebay ad, they claim that the ring and pinion for the rear of an 80 is the same as the front/rear of a 40/60 series(scroll down in their ad in the applications portion). What gets me is that if you go to randy's website, they only list an application for the FRONT of an 80(reverse rotation), but not an application for the rear... Yet if you search for a 40/60 series on their site, they list an...

Cruiser Outfitters has that they are also all have 30 splined axle shafts

So, the answer to this fitting an 80, should be yes. I don't know who made the LSD. I'll look to see if I can see any part #s.

I also have a new set of 4.88 gears for an 80 if interested.
