Hi everyone,

I’m excited to finally introduce my new Land Cruiser 250.

I’ve already started with the first set of upgrades, currently running 17x8 wheels OZ rally raid wrapped in 285/75R17 tires. I’m really happy with how the 34s look and fill out the wheel wells.

My next steps for the build are:

  • Front Leveling Kit: I’m looking to add a small lift to the front to get rid of the factory rake and level the stance.
  • Protection: A front skid plate is definitely next on the list to keep the underbody safe.
  • Interior Setup: I’m planning a full interior build-out for overlanding, specifically designed for sleeping inside and long-distance touring.
Looking forward to sharing the progress with you all and getting some feedback from the community!

Cheers!

Looks great. Did you stay with factory offset? Any rub from the tires?

Yes, the suspension is stock and there's no rubbing, but I haven't taken it off-road yet.

Just finished the first outing with the first prototype of my sleep platform, and I’ve already identified a few necessary tweaks. First on the list: I want to enable opening the tailgate and rear window from the inside. Next up, an overhead shelf for light gear and some side storage compartments.

For now, I’m keeping the rear seats in, so I need to make the most of every inch of available space. There’s enough room under the floor plastic for a slim battery, which I’ll use as a leisure battery for accessories. I’m also planning to fit a 60-liter water tank in the space between the AdBlue and diesel tanks.

Has anyone already tapped into the wiring for the rear window and tailgate release?
They should be located behind the trunk plastics/trim. Looking for the specific wires to wire up an internal release switch.

Greetings from California!
Interesting rear hitch cover is that OEM? Nice setup!
