So I went on ahead and ordered a new OME heavy for the rear (it will be done in phases) so I could get my dd back on the road. After two weeks and $500+ later, I begin.

Shocks were shot! They were there for looks only.

While im working on my runner, Mugsy guards the 60...

I still have to purchase the OME shocks for $80 a pop. Im guessing
They are the best choice for my set up. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes. they're supposed to be that soft. I've been running OME's on my 62 for a few years now and really like them. They'll also outlast Ranchos, I believe. Will you be lifting the front?

Thanks. & yeah, i will be lifting the front. Ive ordered ball joint spacers to start. I would rather start there and torque the bars as the last step.

Ive been running the OME shocks and heavy leafs and I think they are GREAT!!!! I guess I expected an ultra stiff ride.

I might upgrade the tortion bars to the V6 ones. Anyone know if they are stronger?

If you get the leafs in and have some pre-front lift shots, please post them. My rear is sagging pretty good and I have been thinking of replacing the rear leafs but if it will sky the rear I will just wait until I can do the front too.

Here you go...

After rear

I gained 3.5 inches! Of course it was due to it sagging like only a 25 year old faithfull can!

Only problem is that the passenger side is one inch higher. Now I gotta trouble shoot it.

Disregard last photo, app on my phone still buggy.

I got it from my local 4 wheel parts store. I figured I deal with someone directly and sort out any issues locally.

I have not put the spacers on yet because I'm a little nervous bout the bigger angles and stress on the cv joints. So I went on ahead and ordered a sway bar and differential drop kit from 4crawler.com :D

Once that is installed, then I will go on ahead and do the install. I'm taking longer due to having to wait for the founds to become available. I also ordered an LSVP extention bracket from him as well... http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/Shackles.shtml

scroll down to see them. I was having a HARD time finding this product, and even on 4crawlers site, I could not find it till I found it accidentally while researching the differential drop kit.

So I will continue to keep ya'll updated.
I guess that at this point it stopped being an Official OME lift. I did not get the front OME torsion bars because of:
1. Lack of founds
2. Do not have heavy loads up front
3. Current ones work just fine.
