Need your help on which fenders to go with for Expedition

I'm new here but wanted to get your opinion as to go back with factory fenders or keep my tube fenders.

A friend and I are going on an expedition and I wanted to get your opinion as to keep what I have on or go back with stock. Oh I have inner fenders added to the tube fenders now.

Also going to change the color of the rig so What would you suggest?

define your version of expedition?

if staying NA, tube prolly ok. going 3rd world, no sense in looking too out of the ordinary....

color: my fave is tan/sand/beige, but that's just me...

Yea staying in NA may go into Canada a bit but going to try to stay on backroads.

Yea, I was think of those colors. The paint and body shop quoted me 1200 for a 2 stage paint job. They also said stay with earth tones. The top I got is a targa top and its tan. That top you see in the pic has been sold.

Still have a few other items to take care.

Solution to your fender problem:

1. Put factory fenders on.

2. Drop off Jeep at junkyard.

3. Search craigslist for a Land Cruiser.

of course there's no peer pressure involved in that opinion at all.

Now, in keeping with the joviality intended, why not just do a spray can job in satin or flat? Unless the paint's dead and there's surface rust just scuff it w/ 1200 and goto town.

Hi All:

The tube fenders are intended for max clearance and protection while running tough off-road routes.

For a expedition travel the stock fenders (which provide better coverage) are probably the better choice.
