Need an update/ pics of AC setups in pigs...
I have been looking for AC options for the current build, "FAT FRED", my '73 pig. It came to me setup for a chevy, and my TBI 350 found it's home. I was hoping to use the complete AC/heater system out of the '89 Suburban that my motor came from... the half that's inside the truck would fit alright, has the heater in it, and is similar in size and shape to my '76 pigs origional AC unit. The other half has the AC exchanger in it, and is just too damn big to fit under the hood with the V8. I was willing to slice and dice, but I just don't see any way of making it work short of building my own box/ducting and hunting for a different fan... too much work for the amount of firewall and inner fender that would be sacrificed.
I was watching the other thread about minitruck AC. Has anybody done anything with this yet?
Any pics or comments about Vintage systems?
Don't think I want to pay 5 times more for AC than I payed for the truck, but you never Know....
