Need something better for camping table height adjustments (1 Viewer)

Hello folks,

I made this table that has long bolts for making it level on uneven terrain. I'm looking for something different for quicker leveling and was wondering if I can slide in another sq tubing inside the current 1x1 sq tubing. Then I can use use a rivnut and a bolt for tightening the inner sq tube to the outer sq tube much faster than tightening/loosening a long arese bolt! I'm open to any other elegant way to do this as long as it fits inside a 1x1 sq tubing.

yup, there's no reason why that can't be done. i'd weld a nut on the outside of the leg though. as a rivnut i believe would intrude on the slider tube.
