Below the latest pics I just took To answer your Q’s...

Comfort, quite good actually. Still got that wonderfully good Lexus ride.
Mileage, I saw no drop in mileage from my Goodyear Wrangler SR-A street tires versus the Ridge Grapplers.
Grip, is excellent. I took some sharp corners spiritedly and was pleasantly surprised this big ass tank carved ‘em up. I am legit surprised and how well it handles for its size.
Rubbing, sadly I rub but only under nose dive braking/turning and such. I want a lift and maybe a small spacer to solve the problem. Perhaps a 255/75/17 might be a better choice versus the 265/70/17 I chose to stop rubbing? Fun fact, have the exact same wheels and tires on our ‘08 470 and there is ZERO rubbing.
Bonus, braking performance and heavy rain performance are pretty good. Better than I was expecting.

Would be happy to answer any other questions.

God bless your soul! +1439 to your karma this is one of the most helpful threads I have seen so far! Thank you so much! Both of your vehicles look fantastic even without the lift it looks solid and serious! Also, It seems like these wheels/tires were cheaper than TRDs

My only major question is whether the spare wheel/tire fits into the spot?

Two other minor questions regard your opinion, rather:

a) Why did you feel that these would be better for you as compared to prehyped BFG KO2?

b) If you would have opted for 255/75/17 as opposed to 265, do you think it would look less aggressive and a bit lower?

Thank you so much once again for taking these pictures and taking the time to answer questions! Awesome thread!

You’re welcome. My wife liked the TRDs a lot, thing is, they were everywhere and every modified GX and 4R had them in our area. At the time we bought the first set of wheels I had my project 2018 Dodge Charger R/T I was in the middle of heavily modifying cosmetics and go-fast bits and it had bronze Demon wheels and my wife loved the bronze. SHE picked out these DX4’s and the tires too so credit goes to her!

Great question. I plan on finding out because we want to order a 5th wheel/tire to match for the spare on both GX’s. I’m going to measure hopefully if the weather cooperates this week

a) Why did you feel that these would be better for you as compared to prehyped BFG KO2?

I had fantastic good luck with Nitto Motivos on both of my Chargers and, unsurprisingly, my wife loved the tread and look of the Ridge Grapplers as did I. Also helps that they were very inexpensive.

b) If you would have opted for 255/75/17 as opposed to 265, do you think it would look less aggressive and a bit lower?

No, I wouldn’t think so. I will say I believe going skinnier and taller will be more beneficial in sand and deep snow. When these wear out I might try a set of 255/75/17’s.

You’re most welcome! I don’t know much as I’m an off-road noob (I come from the fast car world) but I like to help people when I can!

*edit*, a quick note to save others from my longwindedness. Rubs on GX460 no rub on GX470.
