Picked up a 99, stock globes and probably never had fluid changed. LX470 has 155k on it currently and is in great shape and garage kept. I plan on makig this a very reliable overland vehicle as I'm sure many of you are as well.

Before you shoot me... I'm sure it's buried somewhere, but I assure you I have scoured for hours throughout the threads to do what I have done so far and still can't quite find the info.

I have changed the globes with factory and flushed with fluid swap per many people's recommendations and several videos. I adjusted torsion bars (7 turns drivers side and backed off passenger 1 turn) as suggested to level out ride, but here is where I am a bit lost.....I got both driver and passenger sides even at 19.25" with front pressure sensor at 6.7 and rear at 20" and pressure at 6.0 (nothing has been added as far as weight front or rear as of yet). My understanding is that stock height in normal mode is right around 19.75 for the front and 20.5" for the rear right? Why did I lose the 1/2" front and rear? What can I do to correct that? Is this where the sensor lift comes into play? I wouldn't think I'd need to touch sensors if I am just attempting to go to stock heights in normal. Any help is appreciated!

Yes, just adjust the sensors. It’s a normal part of dialing in AHC. You’ll want to recheck your pressures after doing so.

Thanks man! I thought I just lost a 1/2" in there somehow. I wasn't sure if I messed up the bleeding process or something. Can I ask you one more thing? Is there any difference between doing the sensor lift or just doing the override switch for the AHC system so it will go in high and stay over 19mph?

Sensor lift makes AHC work completely normal, just at higher ride height. It’s easy to do and free. Locking it out in high will increase pressures and make it ride very stiff. Your alignment will also be off. I don’t see any advantage to that method.
