need some help near Denver and heading north

I am on my way from Atlanta GA to Yellowstone and i started having some brake problems. I will be in Denver tomorrow then heading north if i can. Put i really need to get this straightened out. I think i need a brake booster and or check valve or a 94 FJ80. I anyone has on or knows of someone parting a FJ80 it would be a life saver.

I know of some parts in Florida, but not sure you want to hang out that long.

You may check in the Rising Sun section. They are located further north than us. However I have seen a couple of 80's on Craigslist being parted out up that way. Also there is a salvage yard in Denver called Yota Yard. (303)292-5078

A description of the trouble you're having might help. I doubt very much that your brake booster is bad, they rarely fail. The symptoms for a check valve and a bad booster are not very closely related. If you're having to pump the brakes back up to get pressure, try jacking up the front end and checking the wheel bearings, if they are bad, the rotor can turn sideways and spread the caliper open. Turn off your engine and pump the brakes until they're hard, fire up the engine---if the pedal drops, your booster works.
