I have a right hand drive 1982 FJ45 from NSW from down under.
Looking for information on the emissions tags for a 1982 2F for the NSW area for that era in time. Not sure what stickers/tags came under the bonnet for the 1982 but if anyone can send a few pictures or info it would make my day.

Cheers

Actually I believe they had the sticker affixed under the hood as the US had. My FJ45 was not loaded with emissions equipment on the 2F as the US models were.
Would like to create what was affixed on the NSW models.

Cheers

I don't recall seeing an emissions sticker on any of my previouse FJ45, BJ42 or FJ55 or my current FJ45. The BJ42 was an '84 which is closest in age to what your looking for and I bought it in NSW.

Below is the compliance plate that all vehicles in Australia need to have and can't be removed legally. This was on my '74 FJ45. These were affixed by Toyota. My inderstanding is the string of numbers at the bottom are the design codes that the vehicle meets that were current at the time. These may include emssions.

First big thanks for the reply. As for the compliance tag I have that on the firewall and that is the only plate or tag I have other than a sticker from a radiator shop in NSW. As you can see no numbers as you show.
I have seen FJ40/45 in some posted pictures from Australia were the guys had the hood/bonnets open and one could see a sticker on the underside of the bonnet but hard to see and read what they were but kind of looks to be a sticker or such showing idle speed and such.
Again big thanks

Cheers

Any time.
Thats the Toyota build plate, but it at least gives you the chassis number that you could put in to the online parts sites and see if a sticker is listed as a part.

I had a quick look at the Landcruiser Heritage museum to see if any of there Australian cars had a sticker and none are visible.

Question for you if I may, back in 1982 in NSW or the whole of Australia, were the FJ40/45 loaded with smog equipment or was the emissions installed very spars as when compared to the US models that were loaded with tubes, and hose, pumps, and vacuum devices and such.
I have been trying to confirm that my FJ45 when received here in the US from Australia was all stock, bare bones engine with no emissions to speak of not even a catalytic converter, I can actually see the ground when looking into the engine bay compared to my 1980 US FJ40 model were it is jam packed with everything to take me to the moon.
I know the UK, Germany, even Japan all had different emissions equipment installed from that time era but I really don't know much of what Australia required.

NO emission equipment in Europe at that time.
I bought my BJ43 in March 1980 new.

Thais kind of what I meant that the US seemed to be the only country that required a mass amount of emissions Vs the rest of the world.
Were are you located?

Cheers

The more I look the more I am convinced that in 1982 the FJ40 series entering Australia was indeed without any real emissions and what my FJ45 has now was what it had in 1982 unless someone can show different.
Sneaky looks as I found what maybe the same as you found and it also shows a different part number 11298 but also says not applicable so maybe there was never any emission information for that year and other years just had a straight up 2F.

Cheers
