Chicago, Since you have several toys, have you ever had exper w/egine mods--bolt ons? My taco is a daily driver and I'm avg about 17.5 to 18 mpg. I usually haul'in axx, but I do have the 6spd manual. I'm looking for any feed back on throttle body spacers, cold air intakes(and what kind), and if there is anything new w/computer chips--ECU plugin's--etc. Can't aford the TRD blower @ 4500.00
PS check out the Nov 08' issue of Peterson's 4Wheel &Off-Road under tire and wheel tech for a chart of lift needed to fit increased tire size, by model of vehicle.

Nope...Not too much experience with engine mods and the tacos (esp. the new ones).
Im a bit more proficient with the Crusiers, but not much. My remedy for the 3FE DOG is a vortec V8 which is in various stages of progress...
People HAVE said that an aftermarket exhaust will help some, but I dont have any personal experience with that.

Sorry I cant be of more assistance.
BTW, I drive like an old lady, so that helps with my mileage I assume.
