You can fix that slop in about 15 minutes once you get the box off the truck. If you look at my web site it tells you what shims to remove to tighten the worm gear play. If your box is leaking from the shaft seal a front inner axle seal is an exact replacement. You can have Mark A rebuild you box also...

i think coolerman's got the right idea...a rebuild is goin to be cheaper than shippin that box (which is a total bia to separate from the steering shaft to begin with...)
