I recently purchased a conferr roof rack without mounting accessories. I want to mount a hi lift and shovel securely (maybe only during expedition trips and not permanently) Conferr is out of business, and Off Road Unlimited does not stock anymore Conferr accessories...Any ideas on how I should go about doing it.....short of fabricating metal mounts......

Thanks. I was thinking about going with the quick fits. I still need to find a way to secure the hi lift (screw it down) I'd hate to make it easy for some one to steal it. A real problem in Baja areas or rest stops around Tijuana or Rosarito.....

4 wheel parts were the last folks that carried any stock of Con-ferr parts. I would give them a call, they had a few parts I was looking for that they didn't have on there site.

That said, you could easily make a high lift mount with a few peices of heavy walled tubing. and space the jack out from your rack and bolt it down through the tubing onto the rack.

Here is a great place for small precut amounts of the good stuff...
