Anyone have any garage space and tools I can use? I have to replace my altanator. The voltage regulator is bad on my excursion and I need to swap it out w/ a quickness.
I'm staying at the Residence inn off of Federal.
Please and thanks!
Andy

Hey Man,

You welcome to use my garage. It's a bit messy and a bit on the cool side, but I'll crank up the propane heater and make some space.

I'll PM you my address (I'm not sure where Federal is, but I'm up north.)

Your welcome to use mine as well but I don't think an excursion would fit in my garage and still be able to shut the door. I do have a heater and could barley fit an extended cab f-150 in here. I will pm as well. Better bet with Travis but I am a good second option.

AWESOME!! Y'ALL ROCK! I love the off road community!

I'll be calling ya here in a few Travis.

I hear mixed things about the propane heaters in garages. You like yours? I was planning to work on my truck a bit this weekend, thinking of buying some sort of better heater for my frozen garage.

Got Andy all fixed up. He's a great guy and I'm looking forward to him being a CLCer!

Nice. You can't work outside in this stuff.

It's just a Mr. Heater Buddy that I use for warming up the tent when camping.

It does a good job of keeping the garage cozy on cool/cold nights. It wasn't very effective tonight.

I was on the roof working all day yesterday and half the day today. It ain't bad as long as you don't have to take your gloves off for more then 5 minutes. I was also night hunting in buena vista all Christmas in the deep snow and 0 temps sometimes sitting in a blind for 5 or 6 hours to no avail. But I had a peaceful time. If it wasn't so awesome at night getting to see how deer really interact I would probably stop coyote hunting.

I bought a 240v Home Depot heater and turn it on an hour before I am going to be working in the garage. It makes it very nice when I get out there.

Thanks again for the garage space and conversation Travis! It was great meeting you and your family. I'll give ya a call tomorrow.
