Need help!

I have been on here a few times made some posts. I'm hoping someone may have some insight. I started having a knock on the top end sounded like cylinder 4 or 5 I can not for the life of me figure out how to remove the intake to get the valve covers off. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Intake hose or intake manifold? Intake manifold does not come off for valve cover removal. Just the throttle body, intake hose, and airbox (if you want a place to sit while doing it).

Ok so you do not need to remove the top half of the manifold to get all the valve cover bolts?

How's the engine work going?

Ha we'll was going well. Got it all back together sounded like she was running good. On my way back from work the following day the engine blew for real on the home stretch.
So now I am talking with a shop about dropping a 2jz into it. Found a rockin deal on one in a sc300 that has been rebuilt with forged internals the gentlemen who owns it has just lost interest. Checking it out on Tuesday.

Thanks for everyone who replied. So I have ran into a financial tight spot. We have also found out that we are having our first child!
Anyhow I am now between a rock and a hard place. I love my rig only had it for a bit it now however I don't have 5k to drop on a rebuild.
Is there anyone around here that would be willing to help with a rebuild? Would that save any money?

Option two. Am I better off parting it out? Only upgrades are the TJM lift and 35" destination MT tires only been on the truck for 3k miles.

Any help will be gladly taken into consideration.

Oh.... not sure what makes more financial sense and I'd be the last guy you'd want to help rebuild, but.... CONGRATS ON THE FIRST KID!!!!
