Need Help

Hello, The round thing on the left is not connected below. What is it, what is it supposed to do, where shoult it be connected. Same question for the little unit electrically connected to the harness but nothing else.
On thre second picture, where theblach hose starting on the upper of thre engine is supposed to be connected?

The round thing on the left looks like your charcoal canister, and should just vent to atmosphere. Don't know what the little thing next to it is. Black hose from valve cover should go to air cleaner.

first pic looks like some sort of vcv, which would plumb into a rats nest of vacuum hoses. what year are you working on?
