So that small black wire with the black connection on the end, was in fact the starter wire, ended up clipping of the end and putting on a flat clip end and hooked right onto the starter. Jumped in the truck and turned over the key, and there it is! It turned over! Now to find the 2 sensors that I am missing. I need the Temp sensor and the sensor that clips onto the Distributor. What is that sensor???? It is green!

not a sensor... Weather connector?

The other side of it comes out of the coil... Is that the one you're thinking of?

1st off... Is the "green thing" you're referring to a sensor or the connector?

carbed truck...

Yes the connector on the EFI unit that is attached to the distributor. Also just got back from pick-apart and was able to find the temp sensor, found some other parts as well, but miss placed the $20 bill I took with me! Have to go back tomorrow!

fired over.

So finally went back to junk yard and was able to pick up the bracket that goes on top of the valve cover and some of the "weather connectors" that attach to it. The one item I am still missing the the "weather connector" that attaches to the distributor, I believe it is green in color, what does this connector do and go to? Worked on the truck tonight after work, and was able to install the radiator and what ever else was left to put back on. Got in truck, turned it over. I had to turn the key about 10 times to get fuel up to the engine, and it was able to start to fire over but the battery started to die. I have friday off, so I will charge the battery and see if I can get it to start then!

Say, I have a set of paddle tires for a toyota, is there anyone out there that would be interested in them? Not sure what to ask for them? Maybe keep them for the snow? Let me know. I will have some pics tomorrow.

I believe the wire goes to the computer where it controls advance and retard.

And to prime a 22RE crack the cold start injector and jump the B+ to Fp or just take the air box off and reach in and open the flapper or door for the air meter, with your fingers.

After a small mist of gas, or it drips with gas, tighten the bolt back up or let the flapper of the air box close.

SO I got it to fire up and run by itself. It runs like garbage. It is only running on 3 cylinders right now. Gonna change the plugs and wires and go from there. #2 cylinder is the one that is not running.

check the compression...

I've also seen 1st hand injectors stop up after not being used a long time... Albeit on a Ferd...

Tapped on the injector and it ran like a champ...

Very good to know! I will try that after I change out the plugs (if that does not solve the issue).
