Need some help.
1972 55. Need to know where these wires are supposed to run to. The ones on the firewall are a pair. One red one black. They run across the firewall to a couple of bullet connectors then into the harness.
The other is a single wire coming off the resistor. I currently have no spark.
Please let me know if more details are needed.
Thank you

That looks like ballest resistor for the points ignition system. You need to test that wire with the key on, of it has 12 bolts connect it to one side of the resistor. Then check the other side of the resistor or should be about 6 to 8 volts that wire goes to the points. Hope this helps.

Do I see a blue stripe on the red firewall wire? What color is the stripe on the black wire. What color the harness wire with female bullets? If you don’t get an answer from a fellow swine herder you could look up schematics on Coolermans site. He has 73 diagram.

The wire in your hand in the coil picture doesn’t look stock.

Get better pictures of the coil connections and the connections on the ballast resistor.

Regarding the other picture:
Red with blue stripe is generally reverse lights. But I don’t think that’s where they typically are routed.
