Did I say that right......
I am realy looking for a usable head for as a replacement for a cracked on in a 74 fj40. The motor is original and stock as far as I know.
I can have a valve job done if needed.
If you have one, let me know what you want for it and rough shipping and handling cost would be to Libertyville Il. 60048

Thanks!

Pretty sure that I have one that has had a valve job done to it already and was not ever installed....

Will look in the AM.

Hey Georg,
Been rather busy trying to finish the house project. Hope to move in mid to end of Fen and then start the wheelin thing back up. I am planning to dig right in to the wagon as well. It will come out to see some trails this summer!
Hope all is well with you these days!
Let's catch up soon....heard through the grape vine there might be some babe in the picture these days......

The head I have has the numbers 8120, 29-, 11111, and 60030 towards the rear and had heater ports between the second and third bolt towards the rear.

Not sure what all that means, it's just what my mechanic bud said I need.

If someone has a replacement for this thing, I would love to buy it.

I'll check stock tonight to see if I have a 60030 cyl. head. Thanks, John

I thought I was on the wrong board when I saw the title of this thread! :)

Hey Eric! Good to see you're still alive!;p

I wouldn't assume that you ever had the right head on there. Ask your mechanic friend if that 60030 casting has the oiler hole under the #4 rocker arm stand.

Just a hunch.

My F engine cylinder head has the numbers 00051 cast into it, and has the oil hole at #4 rocker stand, for oiling the rockers. This was gone through by the machine shop that I use and is ready to install....

If you are interested in this, PM me a phone # and we can arrange something.
