I am looking at picking up this truck to replace our car that we used to drive to town. It will also be much better where we live with the high ground clearance and 4x4 than the little coupe we just crashed.

Was wondering what you guys thought of this deal. 91 4X4 SR5 (says it is an SR5 but I am getting conflicting information that all 91 SR5s were extended cab with V6. This one is definitely a 4 cyl and a standard cab, so wht gives with that) 215,000 miles. looks really good from the pics. Talked to the woman who owns it and seems like it doesn't need anything. She doesn't know anything about the lift except it was on it when she purchased the truck in 1999. hasn't been regeared. that is about all I know.

Can you guys give me some feedback?
 
Thanks everybody. I am fine with the gearing for now. my 60 has 33X12.5s and stock gearing and it pretty much sucks where I live but I am used to it.

The price seems a little high to me too. I am discussing that with the owner hoping to get at least a few hundred off.

I am hoping to drive up and see it in the next couple of days.

If anybody sees one in this condition with an extended cab for sale(in CA). Please let me know.
 
Hey cruzerfetish ,it's got a lot of miles on it.Did someone say 3500.?For a standard cab?If it was a V6 i would be worried about the miles but a 4 banger goes and goes.My 85 4runner has 340,000 and change. on it I just got an 87 FJ 60.My pics are on the last page of the registry post if you want to see it.Got any pics of yours? I'de like to see'em.I'de like to compair notes about the trucks if you're into it.Peace,Dave
