Fixin' to buy lil' military trailer from Nolen so I can pimp it out and tow behind Rubi.

Nolen can bring it to Jamboree. Anybody able to get it from there to Bonham, Dallas, somewhere??? ... until I can pick it up the next weekend.

It's got the original pintle hook on it but has new lights and tires if towing.

Thanks.

:flamingo:

Reckon it weren't o'ficially "For Sale" ... but I knew money talks with the lil' man and he didn't have no use for it no more so I just sent 'im a PM. :grinpimp:

Got it for a fair price and we're both happy.

Thanks for the offer to haul it home for me sir ... mite need to take you up on it. I'm gonna try to get ahold of Chris and Marde and maybe they can just keep it for a week at their house right there in Gilmer.

My goal is to have 'er pimped out to join y'all in Colorado this summer.

This would include (but not limited to):

-- A springover to clear the 35's. Figure on runnin' the exact tire/wheels I got on Rubi ... and on the same track width.

-- Custom made fenders so I can mount TJ rear flares on 'er to match Rubi.

-- Convert the rear panel to a tailgate.

-- Install 19 gal. water tank with faucet on the front.

-- Mounts for (2) 5-gal. fuel cans on the front corners.

-- Mount for small propane tank on rear corner.

-- Install a Lock-N'-Roll hitch.

-- Mount a Technitop rooftop tent on it.

-- Paint 'er Blue to match Rubi.

Should make for a perfect set-up for some mild wheelin'/campin'/explorin' type stuff.

I would like to get one of them trailers too. if anybody knows about one, let me know. this coming year I will be traveling with my little devils and I will be carrying a lot more stuff then when I travel a lone.

JP ... they're on e-bay real reg'lar. Problem is finding one that ain't too far away so you can fetch it easily. Maybe you can steal one from the Mes'kin Army. :grinpimp:

Meanwhile ...

Chris and Marde are gonna get this thang from Barnwell Mountain to their house. :bounce::bounce2::cheers::bounce2::bounce:

Their Monster 40's done got a pintle hitch already to tote their own lil' military trailer so life is good.

Nolen ... will the pintle hitch you leavin' with the trailer fit a 2" receiver or is it smaller? I wanna fetch this thang with the Trusty Ol' Comp'ny Truck. :D

Thanks for the advice Sir! This Mes' kin figured that out. they are way out for me I am looking for one here in Texas.

Nolen where are the pictures of that Zuk you keep talking about?

Did you learn how to shift it?

Yeah it just cost me $650 to get it to shift. Asshat seller put the shift fork in backwards and ruined it and the bearings were all bad.

Going in tomorrow, testing at Clayton next week....
