285/70/17 tires on 17x9 -12 offset wheels for 97 LX450
I have been going back and forth on this for about a month and still cannot decide. Do I stick with the stock wheels or move to 17x9 inch wheels with a -12 mm offset.
This is my first 80 series, so I am not sure if that setup adds extra stress to the suspension, causes rubbing, or creates other issues. The truck has a 2 inch lift and I really like the look of a wider and aggressive stance, but I do not want to create problems I will regret later.
If anyone is running an 80 series with this exact wheel and tire setup, I would really appreciate it if you could share photos and any real world feedback.
