Way to go, now Auri can take it to the mall and go shopping. :D

Thanks Ricardo, always giving the wife Ideas...next time I see you, I'm gona fix your carb up...hehehe. She likes riding in the FJ but she really wants an FJ Cruiser all to her self...oh boy ;)

If working on Cruisers was easy.......there wouldn't be jeeps! Ha ha, way to go!

Amen brother, Amen...
But here is the money question. Now that I have power steering (which is great), the wheels won't come back to center when completing a turn, I have to turn the wheel back to center. Do I need to re-align it? :hhmm:

hmmmmm........is it a caster problem? should have about three to five degrees of positive caster, sometimes aftermarket lift springs can take this away?

Caster, Camber, Toe

I already have 6 degree caster shims to compensate for hte 4" lift, do I need more?

6* should be plenty. as long as it's positive and not negative. positive lowers the pinion into the ground, negative raises the pinion into the body. you have the shims in right I take it?

Sounds to me like your new steering box setup might just have more leverage over the steering on the cruiser, making it difficult for the tires to force a return to center. My 4runner is kinda like that too. It wanders a bit, you get used to it. Toe in or out plays a big part in it all too, Allpro recommends my high steer to be set a quarter inch toe in. That sucks in my truck, I get bad death wobble, so I run my steering a half inch toe out and everything is good. I guess you just have to play with it.

Well it's 6* shims to compensate for the 5* of negative the 4" lift produced. I'll play with the toe a bit. Still, I'm ok with the results and it should make for a great trail ride.:hillbilly:
