Need a good hydrometer

Greetings everyone,

I need a good hydrometer for checking battery electrolyte.
Don't want to hear from you if you EVER even think of buying made in china stuff. Taiwan sucks also. Looking for good experiences. Point me in the right direction.

Do people still use batteries with messy liquid electrolytes in them? Huh. And I thought they were all gel-cells now.

Yes They do

Acid electrolyte provides much more bang for the buck.

cell sites, telephone systems and Diesel submarines continue to use acid batteries. They can be charged harder and have a much longer life.

Ever seen a 3 foot high 2 volt acid battery?
