Need a door part

Hey guys, only posted here a couple of times and am looking for something else. I have a 1993 LC and the drivers door keeps popping open. Body shop buddy said the inner latch was wore out and needed a new one. Any body have a parts rig or an old door that I could get one from? Called Oxford Toyota and they want $290 for it. Just more than I can swing at this time. Thanks.

I got some interior door parts for my last 80 from the Parting out section.....some guys let stuff like that go for next to nothing.

I also just got a new air intake hose for current 80 off of a parting out truck for 25 bucks, shipped....

sometimes, it take a bit for those guys to get back to you if they have a pm box full of requests, etc

Yea, I found a couple of guys in NY and NC and am waiting for their reply. Just hoping I could find someone alittle closer to Water Valley. My wife is not ammused when the door pops open doing 55 up Hwy. 7. It just irritates me having to shut it 8-10 times for a short trip.

Well, I never got a response from the guys I contacted. Got a little ticked off and tore the latch assembly out and apart. Turned out to be a spring that had broke. I happened to have one like it and swapped it out. All is good and my wife will not fall out now. Thanks for the contact info.
