I seem to remember something about needing 62 fenders to go with that swap. Why are you going rectangular? That's a big reason I have a 60 not 62. I would love PW, PDL, etc.. But the look of the front end kills me. Just my opinion though.

Fender are fine but the radiator support makes everything easier. No problem swapping 60 & 62 fronts depending on your personal preference.

Sorry to spread the myth:whoops:, but I read it on mud. Good news though, in the future, I can do the swap that youngpete wants to do, but opposite. Hmmmm, now to find a nice looking 62. I have two 60's with good front ends.

It's a pretty well entrenched myth so you're forgiven.

Just do your part to stop the evil rumor.

Make the change, make your cruiser the way you want it and make somebody else happy in the process!

Yup fenders are the same. Differences in fenders are between FJ and BJ/HJ... no stupid hole in the diesel models.
