NC 1989 FJ62 For sale: NOW $6500 SOD

[SOLD. SOLD.SOLD.FONT=Georgia]Grey, excellent condition, 2nd owner @214,000 miles. [/FONT]

$7k, NOW LOWERED TO $6500

The usual question and the best answer: the usual rust spots in the rear quarters has been professionally cut out, replaced with steel, treated, and repainted. In fact, I had the entire vehicle repainted while I was at it in the original grey. Gutters properly and professionally redone to prevent leaks. (11/08)

More good. Interior nearly perfect and original. Scion radio upgrade done (usual tear in seat is the extent of issues in the interior). Everything works: lights; AC; power mirrors, etc. Lights upgraded to Silverstars.

Modest modifications: Hellcreek suspension upgrade of about 1.75" inches (2007); ARB front bumper (new style)(2007). New 31" AT tires (just a few k). SROR sliders. Otherwise bone stock.

What's new: all shocks and steering stabilizer replaced (2008); new radiator and hoses (2008); new air intake accordian.

What's old: the engine and transmission, BUT both run great. Engine is strong and burns no oil; transmission shifts well with no issues; AT pan dropped and filter replaced and synthetic added (2008).

What's borrowed: my ham radio, which I must remove before sale. The installed CB stays.

Offroading has been limited to Forest Service roads in North Carolina.

Why selling: I now have 4 TLC's and want to concentrate on my 1982 FJ-40.

Please come and drive, take to your mechanic, or call mine and ask all the questions you want. This has been a Southern truck since new.

PM me now - - because we can't do this all day -- and I will throw in the custom fitted car cover. (Shamwow not included)
