Hi PPRD Volunteers and Partners! 🎉

IF YOU REGISTER YOUR EVENT FOR NATIONAL TRAILS DAY, PLEASE SEND ME PHOTOS AFTER THE EVENT !
Today I checked the NTD website and these 3 events on Pikes Peak Ranger District are registered:
  1. CMTRA & TPA Joint Singletrack Workday June 6            Tad Hershey/Bill Alspach
  2. UC Health Trailhead Outreach (Stay the Trail) June 6            Ryan Dull
  3. MWTA & TPA Joint Singletrack Workday June 7            Cory Sutela/Bill Alspach

The USFS has a goal to have 250 trail work/clean-up events for National Trails Day! In 2025, National Trails Day reached over 31 million people online and across social media and more than 66,000 individuals participated in events across the country. It creates a positive impact nationwide!

Registering your event takes a few minutes and as a National Trails Day (NTD) event you can:

  • Helps us reach our goal
  • Your event is promoted locally and nationally
  • There may be NTD branded swag

Summary:

June 6 is National Trails Day.

The USFS has a goal of 250 trail work days/clean-ups registered on June 6.

If your club/group (motorized or non-motorized) is doing a work day/clean-up on public lands then please register it on the link provided.
 
Focus on the Forest (Woodland Park) is doing a clean-up and cookout on Rampart and Mt Herman, on June 6. Volunteers are invited.

For some reason, the website "event calendar" hasn't been updated, doesn't show this event, but I saw it on Instagram and then went to Facebook to be sure.
