Original Post:

As discussed at the meeting tonight, many expressed interest in a wheeling event this Sunday. As Jim and Rob have shown, they have some excellent trails ready for the club in the Nanaimo area. Likely we will start early Sunday morning. Some expressed interest in an overnighter starting Saturday night. Lets plan something. Please let us know if you are available this weekend.

Shotgun! Hey, what would be the plan to sleep out? Not sure where that would be. BTW, weather plans have it for
rain, so with the cooler temps something to think about unless there would be 10-12 pallets to burn kind of thing.
I think a day trip might be more preferable, J

So Jim, Rob what do you guys think? I got the feeling last night that most people are up for a day trip rather than overnight. So if we did Sunday, what time would you guys like to meet in the morning? And where is a good place to meet?

cruiserpilot, you're welcome to co-pilot the LJ if you want... Comfy suspension seats!

Weather's lookin' good!! Lets make this happen.

We should plan a lunch out there. Graham, I PM'ed Keith, but didn't hear back. Can he make it? If so, I should chat with him about buying some food with club money. I can bring some wood for a fire.

I'll ask him tomorrow if you haven't heard back.
What time should we meet in nanaimo? I'm good for pretty early

Cool, thanks.

I'm up for reasonably early too, but we need to hear back from Jim/Rob to see what works for them.

I will check with Rob and find out. Just a thought but maybe we can stop at Sea Potato's house get him, head up to Nanaimo to stop by our newest member Jeremy and see the progress on his 40, then meet at my place. Just a thought....

Hows about our local spot, 6357 Hammond Bay Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9T 5Y1 take the Aulds road exit..

What time you guys want to meet up?

Rob

Almost didn't make it. I was pulling the started from my 90 pick up, and the greasy bastard slipped, and bounced
off my teeth. Got lucky with only a small chip on one tooth. And no, I wasn't directly under it, cause I've always
been worried about doing this. Just got hung up and spun around. Safety first folks!

Glad you're ok man! I've had some close calls too over the years. These things happen so fast.
