Name this part... PLEASE!

I give up. been looking at FSM's, internet, Ih8mud. Finally throwing in the towel and asking the experts. 10/76 build date FJ40
After putting things back together after a clutch install came across a part I have no idea what it is? It was in the baggie with the parts from transfer case shift lever? shift handle, shift lever boot, and 3 bolts. Any help would greatly appreciated, starting to make me drink more than normal!

Kinda looks like a shield for the fuel filler / vapor separator.

Pretty sure it's a shield for the rear heater hoses somewhere on the transmission cover

Makes some sense as I removed the hoses when I pulled the hump off to drop the tranny!

Part number is 90480-36481. It's NLA. Google the part number and will show City Racer is selling sets for $18.
