I think my engine intake shut-off actuator is dying. I tried some search words in the parts catalog and it did not come up.
It is circled in the pic below. Toyota name or part number?

The ac idle up and the shut down gizmo are the same?
Okay, thanks yet again.

I do have a manual. These two actuators are shown in separate sections as one is part of the a/c system.
The name "idle up" confused me since the device is connected to the vsv and causes the motor to stop.

If NLA, what to do? Rebuilders?

Vacuum Shut Off Valve | IH8MUD Forum Some info here. Has anyone converted the shut down system on a BJ74 to a cable set up?
I think BENO is right about the part being discontinued ,same as the 12HT VSV. But Toyota make carry some parts to repair.

Manual transmission? Check your clutch booster for a leak. I've not seen the diaphragm you've indicated fail but I've seen many failed booster seals and a few of the VSV's. 24V is tough on the VSV but 12v is easy, someone here in Mud was going to run a 12v VSV in their 24v system just to see how long it would last.

It's way simpler than that.

I plugged the two lines that run to the brake and clutch boosters. both separately and at the same time.

No change in behavior.
