I have a LOT of fj40 parts up for sale. I have 3 Fj's I will be selling parts from, a 71(blue/white), a 71(tan), and a 73(red).
The red 73 was my project. There is no title.Yes it has a bit of rust. Not horrible, but in the usual places. The tan 71 was just a parts rig I picked up cheap, and has a clear title. Long story short, I found the blue 71, and now I am building it. I will be selling parts from the blue 71, but ONLY the parts listed from it. No, I will not sell the blue one. Yes I know I'm tearing up a pristine one owner rig. Yes I'm ok with that.
Now the good stuff:
1.Complete hard top and doors from blue 71, ZERO rust, all glass clear and crack/chip free. $1500.00
2. 5 original steel wheels, freshly powder coated the correct gray, 5 original hubcaps, and 5 brand new BFG A/T 31x11.50x15s $1700.00
3. Front split bench seat,perfect condition with no tears, scuffs or damage
Two rear jump seats, upholstery perfect, some scratches on metal bottoms. NO rust on any thing.$1000.00 for entire seating set, no seat belts.
4. Entire 71 drivetrain. Engine, floor shift 3 speed trans, floor shift 3 speed tcase. Parts were stolen from the engine while in a shop for repairs. I have not heard it run due to missing parts and wiring. The engine was rebuilt, and I have seen the paperwork. New gaskets are evident,has good compression and spins freely. I can bore scope the engine if you wish. $1000.00 Obo as is, guaranteed not locked up.
$2000.00 if you want the drivetrain running, tuned and ready to drop in. (Installation available)
5. Original steering column, steering wheel(with turn signal switch, lever, and horn button) steering box, and all steering linkage and parts. All very tight and slop free. $500.00
6. New stainless steel mirrors with brackets. $35.00
7. Spare tire carrier, latch, and hinges. $200.00

I've priced everything as reasonable as possible, and having built and owned 10 other Fj's, I know what they are worth so while prices aren't "firm" I'm not going to give it away either. All parts listed above are from a 1 owner(now 2) rust free garage queen that fell into the hands of a thief. I cannot justify the cost to replace the missing parts, so I'm going to install the 351w/np435/dana 18 I had ready for my other fj.
I will not ship large items, and everything is pickup only. May deliver in Texas for additional fee. Installation of all parts is available, call for a quote.
Things I may trade for:
1.PERFECT black soft top and doors.
2. Set of useable hard doors to fab into half doors
3. 5- 15x8 aluminum wheels. No steelies, no all black finish( black centers ok)no bead locks, and nothing bigger or wider than a 15x8.
4. 5- 35x12.50x15(36s ok)
AT or MT. Must be new or near new.

Now for the other two Fj's. I literally have hundreds of parts I've gathered the last 5 years for my project. Now with the purchase of the blue 71, they will no longer be needed.
Red 73:
1. Great set of front fenders. Very very minor dings if any, not bend, ripped, beat up or modified. Surface rust is due to me starting to strip it for paint.
$125.00 ea or $250.00 for the pair with side aprons. No shipping

2: Windshield frame rust free, but with various extra holes drilled by previous owners, may be slightly bent? Comes with everything that's attached to it. Wiper motor, hinges etc, glass is broken. $100.00 no shipping

3. Factory steel center console for bucket seats. Honestly I didn't even know they existed, I've never seen another one. It looks to be slightly damaged(bent?) and metal is tone slightly where it looks to be bent. Still attached to seat bracket.
$125.00 as is
$225.00 bead blasted, TIG welded, metal finished and painted semi gloss black(custom colors and or powder coating available, ask for a quote) will ship

4. Newly refurbished brass/copper radiator. Never had fluid in it since refurbishing. Unsure of year.
$150.00. Will ship

5. Floor shift 3 speed t case with shifter and brackets. Unsure of operating condition, consider it needing a rebuild. Comes complete with parking drum. AA Tcase crossmember (propellor style) for v8 conversion available.No mounts, just the xmember.
$225.00 complete with shifter
$250.00 complete with shifter and x member

5. Rear bi fold tail gates. No rust, no dents, no plate mount or light.
Comes with hinges, outside latch, and inside latch.
$200.00 pair. May ship.

6. Side steps and brackets. Very nice rust free condition. Not bent or chewed up
$100.00 pair with brackets, bead blasting priming and color matched paint available. Ask for quote. Will ship

7. 4- 16.5x9.25 Weld Super single forged aluminum wheels. 6 on 5.5 lug pattern, no center caps. Currently have worn out BFG AT 35x12.50x16.5 tires on them. Consider the tires rollers at best, were just being used for mockup.

6. Complete rolling frame with drum axles, springs, steering etc. Frame is rust free, has been modified for sbc motor. Fab work is amateur at best. Front axle looks to have had an soa attempt made, but is currently sua. All steering components are intact. No title.
$500.00 complete as it sits

7. Front bib assembly with headlight surround, buckets, behind grill mesh with Toyota emblem, and center hinge. Solid rust free and damage free parts.
$200.00. No shipping.

8. Lightly damaged hood. Looks like it was blown back onto windshield frame. No rust, easily repairable.
$150.00 as is.
$250.00 stripped, metal finished(body worked, no bondo) and primed.
$450.00 stripped, body worked, primed and painted to match your cruiser. No shipping.

9. Transmission tunnel. Corner has some pretty heavy rust pitting, and has been poorly cut for v8 swap, but is very save able and intact.
$ 80.00 as is.
$150.00 stripped, metal repaired, and primed. Can also completely fill in transmission shifter hole for guys running autos. Custom shifter hole locations for trans or t case also available. Will ship.

10. 73 body tub. Has some rust in the typical places. Rear sill, silver dollar size holes in rear corners, and some heavy pitting around the top lip/pinch weld of the tub. Has been cut out(poorly) for fender flares. It's a very workable tub and while not perfect, not the worst out there. I haven't set a price on the tub, so make me an offer. All the metal repair on the tub is available. Ask for a quote.
I had planned on taking both tubs from the tan 71, and the red 73, cutting them behind the door post and fabbing a matching trailer from them. So if it doesn't sell, I will do just that.


I have a ton of various small parts, but nothing currently "restoration" quality. Front heater assemblies, glove box doors, very poor gauge clusters, various switches, knobs, latches, pedal box assemblies, etc. I have a couple fuel tanks, not rusted out, and no holes, but probably need to be tanked and sealed. I have one fuel door for a 73. I do not have the lock assembly or key for it. Anything else you may need, please feel free to ask. I trully don't remember everything I have.

interested in ss mirrors if willing to ship to 16601..i also need ANY reflectors and rear tail lites w brackets..and a cig lighter...thank you
 
I will look through what I have. I am pretty sure I don't have a cig lighter, and if I do it won't be functional. Reflectors are doubtful, and I don't have any tail lights I can part with. Mirrors I can box and ship no problem. The only thing I may have are the side apron marker lights, front turn signals, and possibly the red marker lights for the rear quarter panel. I will let you know actual shipping cost on mirrors.
 
ok thanks none the less..lmk how i pay for mirrors..also nd any front defrost hoses..and a rear heater motor if possible(or complete)..cld use a rear TOYOTA emblem also.that blue 40 is nice bro..i have a decent set of front drs but dont think youd wanna ship from pa...? off my 69
 
Would be interested in a front turn signal or two and a rear quarter panel marker light.

I would be interested in the rear barn doors if your willing to ship. You indicated a " May be willing to ship" so I understand wanting to try and move them locally first. Please let me know.
