We just moved from the Valley to the Sedona area, and I'm interested in any recommendations from the group on a good shop up this direction. I noticed the dreaded "clicking" from the left front axle at full turning lock, so I think I need to find someone...

Don't know how far you want to go. But, Nichols Auto Fab in Prescott just did a full engine replacement in my 1996 LC 80. So far, so good - no issues (500 miles). He was recommended by my usual mechanic that didn't want to get into an engine swap. The shop owner has a LC 80, so he know's these rigs and also does off-road modifications.

Welcome to Northern AZ! I live in Sedona, but still take my rig to CBT - the best in the business.

Thanks for the recommendations. I like someone that already knows 80's... definitely a good sign.
@Clunky - It's good be be here! I will still probably hit CBT for anything major.

I live in PV and make the trek to CBT as well. Not many Landcruiser specific wrenches up North. One shop in PV screwed up my diff so bad! CBT fixed it.

@kelly saad or @Pitch probably have a good recommendation in Flagstaff as well.

R&A in Flagstaff is excellent. However, they are not cheap, and the wait is generally long. Findlay Toyota in Flag is ok. So, given your options, and considering driving time, CBT is my recommendation.
