Before Christmas Robert, Pawel and I were standing in a parking lot at Starbucks (before we went to play in the snow) and a guy pulls up in a Denali. First question out of his mouth is "are those trucks yours?" Long story shorter, he works for a division of North Shore Studios and they were looking for a Landcruiser for a pilot they need to shoot. So after the director and writer looked at a bunch of pics of different trucks they went with mine. I'm renting it to them on Monday and hopefully getting it back in one piece on Friday, apparently it's supposed to be the main character's vehicle so the interesting part comes it they get the contract for the series and are going to want to buy my truck from me. The only thing I had to do to it was remove the computer mount and put in a crappy Clarion deck, otherwise it's staying as "beautiful" as she is :D. Hopefully it'll remember us little people if it gets famous.
I was told that it wasn't going to be blown up, or anything like that (I hope).

Cool, I once had a guy attempt to buy a 77 ford pick up from me, but I declined it as he said it was going to be destroyed .

Be careful, it could end up like this guys Landcruiser

Perhaps a more modern cruiser is in your plans for a dream truck?.....

For sale in North Vancouver. I had a look at it before the meeting last Thursday. Priced a little on the high side in my opinion, but very cool none-the-less.

Off-topic but -- What was the mileage and condition of that Troppy (rust)? I am on the Island so a look is a little costly.

350,000km. Heard it idle, sounded like my 3B. Usual rust behind the rear wheel wells. Frame was fine. The headlights are 24V, which is a little unusual. Missing one bench seat in the back. Does have original split 16" rims. I think it's overpriced in this market. One can buy a very nice BJ60 for 10k or less.

Ah, but how many BJ75 troopies can you buy in this market? There is always a buyer if you wait long enough.
