Yeah, air tools, torque wrench, etc... Well, since the frame was on stands and the axle on stands, once the springs were on I lowered the axle off the stands on the side I was working and jiggled as necessary, fore/aft or side/side till it dropped into place on the spring pin, same with other side, then just raised that whole end of rig back high enough to fit wheels on :)

Nice cruiser. Very clean, and looks "just right" with the lift!

I put mine on by myself too. Good job and looks great. Enjoy!

SAFETY

I've done suspension work on both of my Cruisers. For any part of the process that involved me getting under the truck, I made sure I had an escape route, some redundancy in case the jackstand broke, and a spotter with a floor jack and a phone handy.

Some time ago, there was a story posted here about a Mudder that had his Cruiser fall on him. I got chills reading about it.

I also am a big fan of safety glasses. They are inexpensive, and save you from those bits of dirt that fall or splatter on your face (and in your eyes) while working.

What? Really? Do you have a butler or something? ;)

No, but I do have a wife and kids! I just make sure one of them is watching me when I'm under the truck and knows what to do if something goes wrong. I'd hate to be pinned under a truck by myself and no one even knows where I am. I'm a bit too careful, perhaps. Maybe paranoid, even. But that's how I roll. I just do a bit of advance planning to keep myself safe.

Nice job and nice rig. I did mine alone, with enough jack stands and common sense (or more jack stands) I don't see this as dangerous.
