050 from the late 1960's and very early 1970's.


This is not one of the oldest ones. The original one has Sand Cast magnesium.

In my youth I spent more than one hour on one end of a cross cut saw. When dads STIHL would stop running (usually due to a fouled plug from using used engine oil to mix with the gas) we would finish up jobs with the cross cut. I still have that 6' saw...

That Russian saw is just too cool...
 
A very early 020 (1114 series) that will be added to my top shelf collection thanks to Bigndn.

This one is from the 1971 - 1974 era.

I'm glad you like it! Think you can get it running again or will it be a conversation piece?
 
I could get it running but it would serve better as a conversation piece.

Need to get yourself a bowling ball.;)


I run into some old stuff from time to time, do you collect anything other than Stihl?
