Well the frame is solid, and will be a good platform, I don't need a pretty ride

, I've got a hot girlfriend. Im going to chop out the rear cargo floor and replace it with the cargo floor out of my cruiser. On the outside Im going to cut the rear up as high as the wheel wells and weld in new sheetmetal to give me some tire room and get rid of rust. On the front fenders chopped of course. Nothing too large with this guy, I'm going to keep it low and run 35's dual cases, cheapo lockers front and rear (probably just spool rear, I don't care how annoying it is). I have an IFS rear axle I'm prepping for install with a mild truss and some plate welded over those giant holes so I don't need that stupid damn rubber isolator difunkubober , IFS caliper/FJ60 rotors front w/spacer to widen her up. Tub firewall. Rears up front or possibly fj60 springs up front (I wont know until Im there hacking stuff up). I'm going to try to build this thing cheap as dirt! Once its apart and the frame rails are bare, Im going to see how possible it will be to use my fj60 steering box/HD tie rod and draglink (ala angle iron lol) and high steer arms. Im also going to find a way to jam that massive fj60 skidplate under the belly for some protection (after beefing it up of course). Oh and chevy rears

. Or if I'm feeling spunky I may play around with my 60's bds lift/stock leaf combo and see if I can make it work, after all if it doesnt i just have to cut it all off and try again right

. I just basically want to use as much off the cruiser as possible on this vehicle, as I have a spring mount that is about to fall off the frame of the 60, and if it does, there wont be anything left to weld to and that sounds like more work than my 800 dollar fj60 is worth. Plus 1st gen runners give me a
Edited to add: I also have major plans for a carbon fiber shift knob with flourescent leds in it if you guys know anyone lol
