Thanks Ming and Pablo........she is quite the pistol......pardon the pun. I've seen her wring a chicken's neck and she had no qualms about pulling the trigger on a possum too!

Still much to do on the 55 like getting some rear glass and body work/paint. Got to get a cd player in it too so I can blast some Wagner on the locals....but first things first. I've heard there's a pig some 20 miles to the north of me. When I get the chance I want to go check on it and see if it might be available for another lucky potential pig owner. Will check on it and post when I can.

A few more.....working on getting the glass in but jeez...I have a lot of respect for glass professionals. Headliner will look great to this pitiful pig but have to beat the rain and at least get glass in.

looks like you've got your work cut out for you. :doh:
Looks like it's coming along though. :cheers:

Any luck dave? Yeah glass work takes practice thats for sure!

Luck was on my side (maybe because Friday was my B-day?)---Carm, your suggestion of hitting the glass with my palm was a great idea.

For anyone who has no idea how to install the rubber seals or install the headliner....it can be done since I was able to do it. I really would suggest two people and have a lot of patience.

Will post pics soon as possible of the change. I have not gotten to the windshield yet as we have to wait for some more rain to move out and have a decent day for installation.

Here's a pic of the new liner

And a few pics of the seal/interior

And the binder clips I used to hold the headliner while the glue dried.......

I should mention that when I did the reinstall on the windshield seal I had to make a change...In the install of the rear cargo glass I used 3/8" clothesline but this sure didn't work on the windshield....it just kept coming out so we ended up using speaker wire. It was a slooooooow process but eventually we got it in. Make sure you get your seal good around the dash area. I had to bend a butter knife to make it work there---ha ha

Sweet Dave. That looks awesome. Makes me kinda want to get a stock liner... hmmm

Great Job Dave

Great Job! Your making good progress - by now you should be feeling like a real pig farmer. Lots of projects are like gals on these - your not gonna get it done until they are ready for you to be done. But its still fun and you'll end up with a unique beauty.

:clap::clap::clap: Great job! Lookin Good!

Thread Bump

Still driving her around but am thinking about putting her on the market here in Georgia.

This is just a bump so that my thread doesn't get archived!
