I did a quick search and could not find many pics of this. Just got them today for my 1 month anniversary gift to my Land Cruiser. I traded in my old Grandtrek (1700 miles on them) to Discount Tire for $100 discount per tire...so saved $400 on the new BFG KO2.

LT 285/60/18. Load Range D. As per rec, 46 psi all around. Stock suspension (no plans to change that). And of course, laces out. :D

The more I look at this, the more bad @ss it looks. Personally, I would ditch the running boards too but it looks great either way. FWIW, it takes less than 7-8 minutes on each side to remove them, and you can always put them back.

I just put K02s D-rated on 20 wheels. The ride is pretty good, noise definitely higher on some surfaces (ex. new asphalt) with minimal on other. MPG dropped roughly by 1 (10%). Visually completely different truck.

The running boards will go if i damage them while off-road for sure. They are tucked in pretty nicely to the side. I do need something there on the side for the kids & wife.

But, yeah, ideally, sliders and tires are my two mods that i want on my LC. I got 1 of 2 already. The sliders will take some time. My “extra rib” has been looking at me funny lately....

Discount tire bought your old tires? I'll have to see if they will do that here. My stock tires are brand new.

Yes. “Traded it in”. I gave them my 4 Grandtreks with 1700 miles on them for $400. They applied that to the cost of the 4 BFG KO2. Bought my BFG KO2 at $231 / tire BEFORE the discount.

So, i ended up paying $131 per tire for the KO2s + whatever install fees they have.

Sorry for another pic but these BFGs just look badass on my LC.

I told my wife that step sliders pushed out further from the door panel than the stock steps and were WAY better at preventing parking lot dings. She got behind that idea and even helped pay for them.

As for tires, just traded my truck in but I have some experience with 17" KO2s (on Rock Warriors) with about 15K miles compared directly against the 18" Grandtreks with similar mileage (swapped back to OEM for the trade-in). New the KO2s weren't much noisier, and on some surfaces maybe even quieter. But after that many miles on both, the KO2s they were noticeably noisier than the OEM tires. Enough that wife wants to keep road tires on the new truck - unless our travels require something a bit tougher.

Because I have 3 little ones and their electronics, I have added these two things. Works great.

The first one is an iPad holder that attaches to the headrest stems. It holds my big 12.9” iPad Pro on trips. This acts like rear seat entertainment system.

The second one is 4 USB outlet for the electronics. Charges 4 devices at 2.1 amp each. Works great. No blown fuse. And when not in use, I just put it in the seat back storage net.

I just got iPhone 11 Pro Max and got the Otterbox Figura with Popsocket. I then got this vent holder for the new pop socket case.

BTW, this is what i used: Amazon product ASIN B07K9L24R8
I have the previous version of the link...it was perfect rectangular. The new version is slimmer in the middle (for better charger friendly). So, not sure how the new version would fit over camera lens. It is waterproof...and today's carwash shows that it is indeed waterproof.

It did take me 3 protectors before i got it on just right (above pics). YMMV.

I wish my DT would do this. They offered me $30/tire for my stock tires with 600 miles on them.
