I recently got 4 new 33 inch Mickey T Mud Terrains, my 2nd set. First pair no issues with. I’ve been to 2 shops now. First shop even used their semi truck tire machine which didn’t quite work so they sent me to their sister shop where they attempted to Road Force Balance. Still shaking… Has any one tried bb’s or balls in the tires to get their heavy mud tires to balance?

Pick for attention. Oh and this Milwaukee 18v compressor is awesome.

Try dismounting them and rotating 180°
I just had 5 33x10.5x15 Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZ 249405 tires mounted to my stock FJ62 on original chrome rims.
Mr. Tire used road force to balance 2 of 5.
After flushing powered steering and chancing ball joints I noticed one of the weights had fallen off in my garage after less than 1000 miles. Brought it back to Mr. Tire to have them do an alignment and balance and rotate tires. Now she shimmies at speed. I daily her.
Bringing it back but have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment.

I have run 37-inch mud tires (BFGs and Geolanders) for 15 years(?) and haven't been near a balancing machine. How, you ask? I have been using lead ball dive weights, 1 lb. per tire. I see they have ceramic beads that do the same thing without the pesky danger of inhaling lead dust, so I recommend using them as a solution.

Have also had same issue. Only solution after lead weights was same as Kevin - lead balls/what truckies use. It helped, was ok once on the dirt, but still no good past 80km/h. Tyre supply place ended up replacing them.

Even at highway speeds? Mr Tire was able to balance 2 of the 5 using sticky weights and clip on weights

that's where they are the most comfortable , only time I can tell they shake A LITTLE is when I accelerate SOMETIME ...

really cant complain ;)

To follow up this thread. Took her back to Mr. Tire to have alignment and tires re-balanced by their senior tech. He was able to get her to run straight and balanced out all 5 tires. Seems they used the wrong adapter when trying to balance. He took off a bunch of weights and she now cruisers comfortably on the Highway at speeds of 60-75 so long as their is no hill or headwind.

Prefer beet juice so punctures don't kill yer dog.

It's funny hearing some folks praise balance beads while others hate them so badly and claim they don't work.

It would be super convenient if they do work since I could mount my own tires I buy online.
